English lessons

I teach English to adults online through private lessons. What my students appreciate most about me is my ability to explain grammar in a concise and easily understandable way while teaching with a systemic approach. I firmly believe that once someone truly understands how the rules work, they will never completely forget them.

Most of my students have learned English before but want to organize their knowledge and improve their speaking skills. A key motivator for them is often the positive personal connection and the opportunity for deep, engaging conversations.

It’s important to highlight that if we encounter difficulties during the learning process, I use coaching tools to help overcome challenges—this is part of our work together. (Of course, it’s not always necessary.)

“Thanks to Veronika, I was able to overcome my fear of speaking in English, for which I am very grateful.”

Talking to strangers has always been a challenge for me, but she helped me overcome this quickly and effortlessly, and our lessons are always enjoyable. Since speaking correctly is important to me, we always dedicate time to grammar alongside conversation.
Although I usually struggle to motivate myself to study independently, with her, it never feels like a burden, and I can feel myself improving continuously—even without extra effort outside of our lessons. I couldn’t imagine a better teacher!

Some experiences you might have during my lessons:

linking grammar to situations you have experienced in your life
setting realistic goals
receiving information about how the language or language learning works
comparing English to other languages
a variety of tips and trick for practicing and studying
help with expressing your personality with ease and style in English
realistic feedback coupled with lots of reassurance
making use of your life experiences in language learning

Some experiences you will very rarely have:

being disciplined (some students expect that, and I’m not the right person for that job)
using lots of colourful visuals (except for Christmas – which I love – it’s hard for me, as I’m not a visual learner at all)
lots of games (only when they are strictly useful)
“I truly enjoy my English lessons—they are a place where I continuously discover something new, something great, and where I can experience success while learning.”

I am incredibly lucky to have found Veronika three years ago, and I’m grateful that we’ve been able to learn together ever since. To me, she is the perfect teacher—the Teacher with a capital T.
Since I don’t fit the mold of a typical language learner and struggle with ADHD, finding the right instructor has never been easy. However, Veronika is one of those rare individuals who takes the time to find the best, personalized method for each of her students—one that helps them understand, absorb, and truly learn the English language.
